I just go to Boots and buy some of the small travel size bottles if I'm only bringing hand luggage.

A lot of explosives these days can be in liquid form. I guarantee you the day they repeal that rule is the day some terrorist/nutter stands up in his seat by the window over the wing, opens his 100ml bottle of whatever and throws it against the wall, making a big hole, depressurising the cabin and critically damaging the wing.

    Or it might be acid.

Or piss. I don't want piss thrown on me by a crazy guy.

As a frequent flyer i find this a complete nuisance. I understand the security for the passengers but say you have a bottle of lynx 150ml they take it off you but once you get past security there is boots were you can buy one and take it onto the plane. I can understand why but it is a nuisance none the less.

I have started doing that myself. The small packets of lynx are quite handy.

Ya see bud, airport security cant Guarantee that your tin of Lynx is kosher, but the one sold in the store is. Cos they screen all stock that gets to the stores.

Yea i understand that but still its a bit frustrating that you cant take anything through over 100ml.
