    my isp is 3
unable to log in all day using internet explorer
and when i diagnose connection problems i get the following message

    Windows cannot find "www.escort-ireland.com"

Windows sent the request to DNS server and the server responded that the
    name was unknown

i also tried to ping the website from the command prompt and i get host unreachable
im using opera web browser at the minute

Kelly and Abby, if they use Opera, from here: Opera Web Browser | Faster & safer | Download the new Internet browsers free

and enable/activate Opera Turbo in the settings, it will route it through the norwegian servers and this might fix it for them. Just something they can try.

Thank you all very much for your response, all your comments are very helpful. It seems that it is pretty much coming back to normal. We keep working on improving the service. The problem seems to be down to resolving the DNS. If there is someone having a troubles accessing the website please keep posting we will try to contact again the providers and ask them to update their DNS records.

Just to remind that the restart or DNS flush is necessary.
To flash DNS without need of restarting computer follow few simple steps.
    1) start command prompt in as an admin:
Click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories
right click on Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator
    2) type in
    Code:
    ipconfig /flushdns
you should receive message that the DNS Cache was successfully flushed.
    3) close the window or type exit.

    Hiya :-x
Try the 'reboot' hold the top and bottom buttons for 10 seconds or so until apple sign appears. After a minute it will let you in again. Works for me sometimes but still have problems a while later.
