Sure thing, sweetcakes, and if that '69' means what I think it means we have several things in common:

    Well I was 69 when I registered. I'm 71 now.

That's okay, I come from the 'Anna Nicole Smith' school of thought and have no probem with the older gentleman 'with money' type

Well, I am fairly well off, but I lied. I'm a mere boy of 44!

it seems romance hasn't changed much
You've lost me on this one Warmcome?? I always assumed that for any romance to be possible - you'd at least have to know her name!

Unless of course you got that soft mushy feeling in the pit of your stomach and started grinning like an idiot? Which would qualify for true romance! Gets me everytime!

Ahh Denise! Please don't spoil it for me. I'm an incurable romantic even if it doesn't exist! I'm the kind of sucker that Valentines day was created for!!

So please leave me in blissful ignorance! I don't want to face reality.

(Totally agree that the basis of any long term relationship is mutual respect. But flowers, chocs, diamonds, and of course mushy love making don't hurt! )

11 years is a long time, but anita, it also can happen in the blink of an eye,you just have to open to it, may you not have to wait 11 more years
taking a break, but not gone
