What I find fascinating about the lady drivers is that when approaching a roundabout, they enter it on the outer lane, vere across to the to the inner lane, whilst on the roundabout and then exit back on the outer lane.

I remember some group or other caused a bit of a stir in England back in the 90's when they published research that proved female drivers were far more likley to have or cause an accident than men.
What they said was that the actual number of incidents they have is much lower than for the men simply because on average they drive far less miles than men do.
When they pro-rated it accross both sexes to even up the playing field they found that women were in fact three times more likely to be involved in or cause an accident.
I have spent many hours trawling the interweb in search of this report but have been unable to find it.
