Independant for me, not only for reasons already mentioned about agencies but I like to think that all the money I pay over goes to the girl.They put alot of effort into keeping themselves independant and I think it shows. Also agree that they are more concerned about building up regular clients and their reputation.

Sometimes it does not matter. Independent girl can be much worse then girl who is working for agency. I personally dont mind at all. If they are fair and offer good service,clean place and girls who work for agency are happy then who cares on the end But i am independent and always was and always be

Always choose Independents. it's not a question of which type of escort is better, that's down to the person. But out of principle will choose Independents. I've never knowingly used an agency. definitely nobody has ever taken my call and made a booking on behalf of an escort.

as you can see on this thread, agencys in ireland have a deservedly bad reputation.
So most of us will always go for an independent escort, so from the start we know that it is the escort we are dealing with.

I have on a few occasions rang an escort only to find that it is in actual fact an agency. I have not gone ahead with making a booking in these cases.

i cant understand how agencys can charge more than independents and as well i think they have clients.
The most agencies advertise as not verified pictures so how they can get clients??

I've gone with independants purely because thats what most of the girls are on E-I. (Of course thats what most advertise they are!). Also I've been warned off agencies by other posters on this forum so have heeded their advice. Have noticed that a number of the agencies also charge more for their hourly rate (presumably for the agency cutt, so this is a further deterrent for me.

I have used agencies while abroad for example in Spain. My Spanish is pathetically poor , so iy was much easiser to chat to an agency Madame who had some level of English. Got very good service through that particular agency.

However, I think the situation is clearly different in Ireland. I think its a good sign that there are so many independant girls in Ireland as it means they are in charge of their own lives and careers. (Obviously I'm not talking about agency girls that advertise as independants).

You get good and bad agencies no matter where you go in the world except Ireland, they're all a bunch of lying deceiving "insert bad word of your choice" in this country, only interested in cheating people out of as much money as they can from both you and the lady they are victimising...

That's true up to a point Anon. I would never us agencies here........assuming I could tell which was agency and which was'nt......as you will probably not get the escort in the photo, the services listed may not actually be available, the escort you end up with possibly wont speak any English. With a genuine independent escort you can be sure that she is in this business of her own free will and for the money........with agencies this may not always be the case. But it has to be said, that escorts who are forced into this business, could just as easily be advertised as being independents.

Agencies on the continent operate either on a percentage basis (which tends to be more in the escort's favour than the 50/50 split here), or the agency charges a set fee for organising an escort's foreign tour for her, or it is more of an E-I type situation where they pay a monthly fee to advertise on an agency website. As you stated, there are continental agencies which have both good and bad reputations......there are also completely fraudulent agency websites that are just designed to get you to send money to them. My main complaint about many of the agencies is the extent to which they photoshop or retouch escort photos......some of them would manage to make Quasimodo look gorgeous. In general, if the photos are professional they would look much better. This may be due to the skill of the photographer, the lighting, professional makeover in advance, but the finished product that the punter sees on a website may also owe a lot to photoshop.
