Is it possible to have a discussion here ?

So I've been thinking, I know the second time in as many years

But with all the talk lately of threads being locked, people being banned, this being unfair, that being unfair.
Are we capable of having a discussion about anything without it turning nasty or personal ?

We are all here on an adult website, I couldn't think of a more diverse group of people.
There are topics and issues that people wish to discuss but don't for variety of different reasons.
So how about we Debate some of these issues/ topics ?

What I propose to do is:

• Compile a list of topics. Send suggestions via Pm to me.
• Put them up in a poll, so we can vote on which topic will be debated.
• People can then express their interest to take part on the poll thread or Via Pm to me.
• I will then pick two teams of five to debate the topic, you would have no choice in whether you are for or against the topic. (This is where it can become interesting.)
• I will then open a thread where the two teams can debate the subject for say 24 hours.
• Then each team captain can post a final closing argument in a poll where we can vote on who we thought won / lost the debate.

So what ya think ?
