Im not having a go at Tiff here im just pointing out the unfairness of the system
and that it needs to be amended. Im just looking for fairness for all and transparency

We do our best to be fair to everyone. When escorts put up touting threads in the general chat forums, they come down and we are accused of being ridiculous. When phone numbers and email address are posted in blogs and visitor messages, they come down. When adverts are posted in the non-advertising forum with contact details in them, they are amended. This situation seems to be a matter of perspective really. Some escorts build relationships with clients via the medium of conversing on the boards, and that's a form of exposure in itself. There is only so much control we can have on escort exposure.

Can we keep this thread on topic and concentrate on "New or Back" and what exactly that contains or means.

But your also missing the point a little. I (as a client) want to know who is "New" in town or who is "Back" in town not who is paying the most for advertising. If the contents of the "New or Back" section is to contain those who just pay more to advertise then it should be labeled something accordingly like "Premium Rate Advertisers"

There is already a feature on the site to see who's new or back you just click on the town your in or visiting and there's a page(s) full, and if you want to book in advance just go to the coming soon page what's the big deal?

But the New or Back section is not New or Back anymore it's who has paid most to advertise. Thats the whole problem. Anyway Sam has reported the glitch to the techies so will probably be tomorrow before there is any update.

My thread was deleted. Why? Did it break any site rules? No. It just discussed something E-I don't want discussed. Or at least not discussed publicly.

Because it was deleted, people now don't know what I said. My complaint was something different from what other people have been complaining about. Perphaps that is why my thread was deleted and theirs weren't. I pointed out that the new system is not showing escorts who are new or back if they don't pay the extra fee. I gave a specific example. Yesterday Karin was back in Dublin, but she wasn't listed.

Now let's think a little about the reasons E-I has given to support this policy. Some escorts want it. And are willing to pay for it. Well, I'm sure there are lots of things some escorts would want. And probably be willing to pay for: Fewer rats. Slow or no response to fake photo reports. Deleted warning threads. Do I need to list more? Will you be introducing these now? Have you introduced them already? After all, we weren't told about this change, so there's no reason to believe we would be told about any others. Don't say you won't be doing this. By the logic you've used on this thread, there's no reason not to.

To Tiff and the other ladies who think this benefits them, I would say one thing. Enjoy the boost to business while it lasts. It won't last long. As soon as more clients realise what is happening they will stop looking at that list. I will not be looking at it in future. Why would I? Do you think I care who paid extra? No. I want to see who is arriving. The page no longer shows me that, so it is worthless to me. If it's worthless to me and other clients then it is worthless to you as an advertiser.

What's at issue here is trust. There is a section labeled "new or back". It it were labeled differently then we wouldn't be having this discussion. There are ladies there who aren't new or back. Worse, ladies who are new or back aren't there. So E-I is deliberately giving out false information for money. There is no other way to describe it. This may benefit some ladies in the short term. It certainly benefits E-I in the short term. In the long term it benefits no one. Because when you lose trust, you don't get it back.

If the "New or just back" section only shows escorts who are paying extra to be there and excludes those who have not paid the extra. Then as you say it no longer is a new or just back section. It becomes a joke really, its the "I'm willing to pay extra to be on the front page section"
And thus becomes useless to the savvy punter. It is a section I have always kept an eye on to see who was coming to an area.

So if you want a premium section, have it if you wish.
Have it on the first area when you click a particular county.
But keep it separate to the "New or just back"

I'm wondering though, dose this apply to the "coming soon" section ? I know people have been taking advantage of this area, as in appearing to be coming soon on three consecutive days, but surely even if an escort is not paying extra she should still appear here ?

It was a simple matter of implementing some rules so people couldn't abuse the system.
What seems to have happened now is that there is just a new (more expensive) way of abusing the system
