I wouldnt buy a Chrysler, very unreliable as are Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports.
X5 is probably the best all round proposition for a 4x4.

when i showed you the Civic, i knew it was a bit flashy.
i know the feeling, you want something that you will enjoy on the inside,

I drive a 2007 skoda octavia vrs these they are unbelievable cars fit 5 people easily, has a huge boot. I had 2 families christmas food shopping in mine in December and they are great fun. Standard they are 2 litre turbo charged engines with 200 bhp mine at the moment is kicking out about 240 bhp. You can pick up a 2007 one for 10 grand so they are cheap enough too.

Funny, never had a problem with a Range Rover, have had four.

After 2 X5's, I had so much trouble with both the cars and the dealers I vowed never again.
