    I cannot believe that that pair of spastic monkey children won the competition. Why do people think that mediocrity is something to be lauded and encouraged?

    It proves a number of things I have been screaming on street corners for years, namely:

    - democracy does not work
    - the public are fucking morons
    - I need to be allowed to thin the herd without recrimination

    I think the Eurovision has become a farse . The reason Ireland send these cronic acts is because the dont need to host because as a country we cant afford it . If they wanted to seriously win it , all they have to do is send someone like The Corrs, Enya or Westlife .
