Actually, warmcome, you brought up a good point, I don't have a major problem on what people do on their one time.
I put in a gym upstairs, that nobody uses, but me.
I have a doctor to come around once a year and all people do is make evey excuse to avoid him.

Not all smokers are like this, i actually use my daily breaks for smoking and dont take a lunch break at all, just bring my sarnie with me and eat while i work.

There is also the arguement tho, how many wasted hours are lost at the coffee machine, and nattering! Its not only smokers!

Not to mention sick days. But why woont they use the gym, I got the best of everything. Nobody uses anything ever, I really dont get it.

It's possible to be a smoker and not smell like an ashtray. Many of the gentlemen I've had the pleasure of spending time with didn't know I was a smoker - until after the event I asked them if they'd like me to get an ashtray for them- as I could smell smoke on them.
There's no excuse for a stinking apartment - whether it smells of smoke or anything else! Washing, cleaning and spraying are all useful methods of keeping the smells away.

A little secret bert - many ladies who put non smoker actually do smoke!

True but I find that a happy work place is a productive work place so I don't bother with little things. Treat employees like friends and they'll work with you not against you. Its easy in a small company, its run like the mafia.

Thats my point about smokers too, if you treat them fair they wont take the piss, its no different having a quick smoke to a quick natter, its a case of being considerate to your colleagues .

Ever notice sick days are mostly on a monday, miracle cure by tuesday. I don't tollerate missing days. I can't I am working with a skeleton crew.
