If caught smoking, in San Francisco, the fine is only $75, and the people incharge of inforcing the law are the Health Department-which closes at 5pm

I dont smoke never did never will its bad for u and puts a realy bad smell on your breath

I gave up just over 5 years ago and I had smoked since I was 13-14!!!Still a smoker myself HL and can stop if I really want to as have done for a couple of years at a time. Thing is I enjoy it too much especially with a coffee. Don't mind the ban though as I never liked to smoke near non smokers anyway. Think there must be quite a few smokers here.
Thankfully, never heavily though.
Even after that amount of time I still get "the urge" after a few drinks and could quite easily start up again.
I have lost 2 very dear people to cancer and I also hate smelling of smoke, so I choose never to start again.
I would rather spend that 8K on a couple of nice holidays!
P.S. I wish clients would clean their teeth before an appointment if they are smokers....nothing worse than a smoochy french kiss with a smoker!

That law wont be inforced in spain,its like drink driving,down to local ATM,500 EURO with guardia civil and off you go,there whole of spain works on back handers.

It's possible to be a smoker and not smell like an ashtray. Many of the gentlemen I've had the pleasure of spending time with didn't know I was a smoker - until after the event I asked them if they'd like me to get an ashtray for them- as I could smell smoke on them.

What would i do with my hands then? i'm just opened my 4th pack since 5am have another few hours in work so i'll probably finish them off tonight, which for me is even a bit much but its the cunt of a day i've had - there are worse thing i could be doing that smokinglike drugs or murder lol
