Punt has different meanings . Most used punt is to gamble take a risk if you prefer . Some might see the connection as to when you choose an escort , a gamble that all will work out fine in the end . As for a new word i just don't have one .:doc

How about something completely neutral - like golf/golfing. Afterall golf already has all the appropriate terminology - 'hole in one'; birdie.... You could tell you spouse/ significant other you're off 'golfing' (without the slightest bit of guilt as you really are telling the 'truth'). The only problem is that in order to make it authentic, you'd have to lug the golf bag into your car and stay out for hours and come home pissed (although that may be a good thing?

).

Not really looking for something to tell the trouble and strife. That secret was blown a long time ago!

More for something more pleasant sounding.

I'm switching to rendezvous for now. I'll casually drop it into posts and reviews until it seeps into the public consciousness and is eventually accepted as describing 'a visit to an escort' in the latest edition of Websters!
