I hate to point this out Shirleyy, but I think you're asking the wrong people. We (clients and escorts) are bound to be biased in favour of the industry.
So I can honestly say - NO! There is nothing wrong with escorting. At least the principle of it. There is nothing wrong with the 'pay for pleasure' principle, which meets the needs of both parties involved.
However, as these boards only know too well, the ideal and the reality are often parallel paths that never meet. There are bad, rude, abusive clients. And of course in other places there are pimps and traffickers. And there are escorts who switch and bait, and have no interest in clients. More than any other industry there is a really darkside to escorting. I think if we are honest, both clients and escorts are affected for the worse in some way or other by the industry. Purely because not all experiences are good and wholesome. I think this is a bigger factor for escorts. I can only imagine what you all have to put up with.
As for the moral side of things, I think the do-gooders should take some chill pills and leave us all alone.
