What an over reaction again. To stop sexual explotation it is up to the police to work on this as in the UK. But leave us independents alone. In Sweden what has happened now is that escorting has been driven underground and this just means that more under age sexual explotation is taking place and the police find it really hard to discover. The Eastern Europeans are an easy target for the bitter. Why not target the tens of thousands of people that never worked even when we had full employment? The guys you see hanging around with their other tracksuit buddies in the shopping centres of steps of the court house every week.
I have no problem challenging aspects of the social welfare system. However can we judge people on their contribution to the state up to the time they became unemployed and their willingness to work?

its not all East Europeans who are scamming the system but there are a huge amount here doing so there are sooo many examples has the social welfare not recently stopped the EE collecting dole here getting a Ryanair cheap flight back to their country to work back next week & so on , I moved from an area recently 6 EE's living in the same house 2 were getting Rent Allowance for other houses that they were subletting haveu ever seen so many EE qomen pushing prams er coming over here to work get a job get pregnant go on maternity leave child benefit etc come on look aroud u, I dont speak out of bitterness but rather I object strongly to my taxes being used in this way the Irish are doing it for years but lets deal with them this welfare system afford it.....

Ah EXP everyone has "a story" of the EE neighbours and how they are all taking us for a ride! How does what you say make sense in relation to sub letting? If they are in receipt of rent allowance who are they sub letting to but presumably to other people on the social welfare system who would be entitled to rent allowance themselves.
Where are the sooo many examples? Huge amount of them? Can you supply some facts and figures on that?
Yon have to have been a resident in Ireland two years before you are able to collect dole! Therefore bar they lived on fresh air they were working for the two years!
I am amazed that by seeing an EE Lady walking with a pram you are able to surmise their life story and that they are taking advantage. The fact is that unless you worked you are not entitled to maternity benefit. If she worked she is entitled to the benefit. They are entitled to have famalies too you know!

I don't agree in the measures being put forward by these agencies.

However I think some of you, punters and escorts alike are burying your head in the sand if you think exploitation and trafficking is not happening in this country today.

These agencies provide excellent support services and are not deserving of the ridicule they are occasionally subjected to on this site.

I do think it is the job of the police to stamp out these activities but it's not an easy choice for a frightened girl to make to go to the police.

I think the agencies would be more effective if they could convince girls with issues that they offer a safe, confidential service. Traffickers and some pimps need to be shopped before they are caught and dealt with.
