Anyone mention Peploes on Stephen's Green? I coudlnt be arsed reading the whole htread but ate ther enot too long ago...lovely food decent atmosphere.
Bit pricier is Chapter 1 but it is usually pretty damn good.
By far the most authentic Chinese restaurant is M & L Szechuan Chinese Restaurant, 13 Cathedral Street, Dublin 1, however only go there if you are in company with atleast one chinese speaker. However if you are, you are in for a real chinese treat.

I love Rolys but another I used to love was McGrattens in Baggot Lane although haven't been there in a while.
Matt the Thrasher on Pembroke ,
Ryan’s pub on Parkgate Street >> has FXB upstairs and the Best draft of Guinness in town !
Marco Pierre White in Donnybrook — fab atmosphere , even better steak !
King sushi on Lower Baggott — I lived on that for a year lol !!
Ely’s — sadly the one in Grand Canal Square is gone , but there’s still the one off Lower Baggott , and
there’s another location near the ‘Emigration Museum’ on north quays .
Pat G right next to The Merrion — exquisite ! Be dressed , and Need reservation !!
The Cellar at The Merrion — Their soup and Caesar salad is out of this world when you want some
good quality ambiance with your good wine and and good quality greens and service xx
: just off the top of my head x
I do what I want. I cannot do otherwise.
