Westsidex was a guy that did add alot to the site! He did a good job on the comps to be fair which I am sure took alot of his time.
He was also on occasion quite funny and intelligent.
However the rest of the time he was no a person I enjoyed to interact with. He was rude and cutting with other posters. He through hissy fits when things did not go his way. He thought he owned the place because he has been here so long and was un welcoming to new posters! He also knew he had more leaway than everyone else with the Mods and Managers and abused the privilage. He was well balanced, with a chip on both shoulders.
Would I object if he came back? No I would not. once he grew up a bit and apologized for the behaviour leading to his ban in particular the abuse he doled out to the ladies!

I think that Westie was a unique character.He was often controversial sometimes confrontational but there is no doubt these boards are not the same without him.Having said that he definitely crossed the line with his comments just before Christmas and it seems there is no way back for him here.

I log on to see my thread goes to 10 pages from 6 when I logged off at 8pm lastnite, u know I really have to smile to myself as I have said earlier I start a thread paying respect to a former member from the point of view of his contribution to this site no not the spats & namecalling with others but from the point of view of starting threads advising & indeed his respect towards others
unfortunately there are so many shit stirrers here whose life is EI thats very sad, equally I feel sorry for members of the clique here who sing from the same hymn sheet with no opinion of their own desperately relying on each other for an identity here I'm my own man & my opinion will not be silenced

Well, Mr I will not be silenced, you will find I am pretty hard to shut up too. It seems to me you guys are throwing your toys out of your pram because your mate has been banned. Okie dokes. He deserved it though. He spoke to advertisers like scum, made new posters uncomfortable and generally ran his own little clique, but that was ok because you were part of it.

I speak up for that which I believe in. I'm completely open to suggestions I was wrong in my opinion of Westside, but unfortunately I have seen nothing to convince me otherwise- just a couple of grown men acting like spoilt little girls. Get a life.
