Its widely accepted that The Exorcist is probably the greatest horror film of all time and I’m one of them but I’d actually go as far as saying I believe not only is it the best horror film ever made but perhaps one of the greatest films ever made as a whole.
Its nearly 40 years old now but I think its timeless, one of those rare films you can watch over and over and never get bored watching it, a true classic, it can still knock the bollocks off today’s CGI multi-million dollar crap we see these days.

Doozer have you ever seen The Exorcist 3 - Legion? It went back to the original story and with the original writer and director William Peter Blatty. It stared one of my favorite actors of all time George C. Scott. I think it’s a cracking film, check it out if you haven’t already seen it.

Black Snake Moan - IMDB is on Film4 tonight. It looks pretty good from the IMDB description.... it's rare for a film like that to get 7.1 on IMDB.

Hostel is pretty good but stay away from the sequel. Cabin Fever might be worth a shot
Fragile is one that gave me goosebumps, yer one from ally mcbeal is in it but dont let that deter you
Rec is a spanish zombie film, subtitled but has a few good "make you jump" scenes
