I think the best Mods is people that do not post and do not get engaged in the threads on the board. So if I had to say someone, it would have to be someone not on here.

But then again, some people like to build relationships with the people who they need to refer to, so I would disagree with that personally.

I may be invisible but thats just laziness on my part just not comming back visible

As Doozer said, sometimes mods (as other posters often do) remain invisible. The mods here have been taken on as regular posters that had a good rapport with people, so it would be pointless to expect them to stop posting just because they are moderating. Besides, in terms of reporting things and asking for advice, etc., we all have a range of personalities and opinions, just like any poster would, and I know that certain people only report to myself, whereas other may only wish to speak to someone else such as Doozer, Jackie, Nicole, etc. They build a trust and friendship with the mods through taking a shine to their personalities, if you will.

What about Captain Jack?

I have read his reviews and posts and have always found him to be a thoughtful person who showed empathy towards others.
He may not be the most witty person on this site, but that should not detract from his obvious strengths as a mod?

I for one would be privileged to be one of his shipmates!

Thank you for the mention and your comments Mark444.. and I would be privileged to have you as a shipmate.. as for mod its not a job i think i would ever be offered as has been mentioned maybe i wouldnt have what it takes for such a role...

I feel i do good on and off E-I for the ladys and also posters from the little things like helping someone post a pic to big things like helping a lady in distress and will continue to do so...
you dont need to be a mod/manager to help people and i think im not alone it this ....

Would agree with that samlad , mods need to post gives them a better idea of the people they have to moderate on , and the odd time they do have a good post as well .: doc
