Im not gonna lie here. I am a bit concerned about this law. I would very much like to hear an escorts opinions on it. My visits may need to be dramatically reduced.
I appreciate you're being droll
More specifically just to clarify, I was referring to the "X-Case" fall-out ;given the de-facto impact of the Swedish law I would make a prediction that there's about as much chance of this law being passed in it's current format as the Pope announcing he's converting to Islam...
Not being an escort, but it is very clear why this is now being aired by FF. FF know they will lose the election in the spring, so what do they do, they behave like real fucking cunts. First, the budget that is on the table now will have to be revised after the election, because there is simply not enough cuts being made. So FG or SF or whomever comes to power has to introduce more cuts when they have to look at the figures after they come to power. So FF expect people to come back to them for next election, because they weren't really that bad, FG/SF etc was even worse etc. Now this is the deceit they are already planning for after the election. For before the election, they pull stunts like this. Why didn't they touch the pensions? Because that is x amount of voters there they will retain. Why did they do this? Because they expect this will pull another x amount of voters for them. Did I mention they are absolute cunts? It is all about votes for the upcoming elections, which is why they have tabled this now, nothing sounds better than FF tackling the illegal brothel and trafficking problems with their new legislation, just before an election.
The big problem will be after the election, will whomever comes into power believe they need to go ahead with implementing this new law. That is anyones guess.
However, getting back to why I quoted Rayden's post, I will go back to not punt in the republic if this gets into law. As with any new law, the people it impacts will try and make something off it, so in this case the gardai and prosecutors will go after whomever they catch first after the new law is implemented. I will definitely lie low until the worst waves has hit.
All in my opinion ofcourse.

I think there is one line in the opening paragraph that is very interesting.
"This groundbreaking law is a cornerstone of Swedish efforts to create a
contemporary, democratic society where women and girls can live lives free of all forms of
male violence."
Maybe this is a law that was brought in to try to prevent human trafficking, and that part of the legislation I am obviously totally in favour of. We all want to see the people behind that get whats coming to them.
But somewhere in the middle, the genuine independent escort seems to be getting caught up in the crossfire.
I have the attention span of a gnat, so I have no intention of reading through the full thing, but that was just what I got from the small bit I read.
Personally I will be very, very reluctant to visit a girl when it is passed. At the start I am sure they will be looking for a few scapegoats.
To be honest I really dont know how I will get on without the girls, because meeting them has become a pretty big part of my life and routine.

Deffo thinking about layin low CP. Like yourself I will see how it plays out.
Well there won't be much point in Brian Lenihan or whoever exhorting us to be patriotic as the punters in addition to the shoppers head up the M1 to Newry, Belfast, etc. If men are forced to punt abroad they will. Hotels will lose business, but Michael O'Leary will probably start advertising punting day returns to dozens of European locations.........plus they've reduced the travel tax, so they obviously want us to spend our money abroad.
