The majority of escorts get checked up on a regular basis - its the norm in their industry.

The problem is most punters, including me do not get checked up regularly enough, through embarrassment or other issues.
Personally I have only been punting for three months and have not yet obtained a check up.
Is this the escorts fault - no!
Is it my fault - yes!

During the past week, never mind three months I have had more partners that my previous 30 years of sex.
Should I get checked out - of course I should

yes, i don't think you read me right, it is a two way street as i said, but an escort could've had more partners in the past week than you're had in the past 30 years and three months of your life, prevention is better than cure and an escort should go through whatever steps necessary to ensure maximum safety, and i think its the escorts responsibility to ensure, to the best of their abilities, that the minimum amount of viruses are let into circulation, be this through strict hygiene, strict sexual practices and refusing to meet clients who don't meet this standards, at least a medical certificate is a way of confirming that the escort has been taking precautions seriously

As a very clean and the fact that my health comes first at all times I do feel it is unfair to only judge an escort by how many reviews they have. But I do understand why some men think this helps. Looking at the reviews on here I do not see many men who say the escort was clean they are only interested in the sexual exchange that took place! I will make a point though, that not all STD's are the same. HIV and Hep B (both of which are viral infections) are obviously the most serious being life-shortening (HIV) and potentially fatal (Hep B). Thankfully these most serious infections are the hardest to catch, particularly with oral sex. (Unprotected penetrative sex is obviously a different ball game and just playing with fire).

The other bacterial infections - gonorrhoea, clamydia, syphilis are all very nasty but are treatable with antibiotics once diagnosed.

The other common STD is oral and genital herpes (cold sores). While they can never be eradicated for good, their real danger is increasing one's risk of getting other STD's when they are active (i.e open cold sores).
