That sounds about right, I didn't get the model but looked like an E or S class jet black Merc, nice looking motor but I'm too young to be driving a Merc

It's a Mercedes E200 CDI AVANTGARDE AUTO, if anyone cares.

I must admit I was thinking about changing my car but I just feel that with so many people struggling it would be in bad taste to change

I have seen 3 so far a BMW 7 series a Merc and a Nissan Van.As far changing your car i'd go a head if that is what you want you shouldn't feel bad because people are struggling unless of coarse you are a banker or Brian Cowen!

They've had their wages slashed to a couple of million per year.

If your thinking about changing do, the motor industry needs all the customers it can get. I won't be changing this year as I changed last year. I probably will change my bike closer to the summer. On another note I have been driving BMWs since 1992 when I bought a 318is coupe, had a few 3 series now drive a 530d. I never got any problems with any of them. My last car was an E320 great car also but the 530 drives better. Had a passat in 2003, sold in in 2004 didn't like it. Mercs and beemers are the only cars for me.

2011 is going to be a very difficult year with many more businesses going into liquidation!

I disagree I am starting to notice a slight growth in new business in the last 3/4 months. I am hoping anyway.
