Not too sure what you're saying there Mr Come.
I've had two guys leave, because they figured they would be better off on the dole. One on € 35 k and the other on € 50k

Dole plus a few cash in hand jobs.
And now I'm supposed to compete with them, where I pay tax.
Not exactly a level playing field

very true but it doesn't happen, even though we are told it does, i also had 4 people just walk out before christmas because the weren't happy with the overtime pay, €30 per fucking hour!!

I like most people self employed i know get paid less than the minimum wage when you take into account the hours we do, the 3 weeks before xmas i did 130-140 hrs each week.

    I sometimes wonder why?

They are trying to bring that in
But again It can be harsh for some
Say again if you have kids or medical card or whatever and you get offerd a poxy job on the new minimum wage and end up loosing more working than you would on teh dole

Obviously it should be more enforced for the long term unemployed
    Thise who refuse to work

And then there's the other side. I have a tenant. She was on the dole but wanted to work. Despite being worse off she got a job, but a year later was laid off.
Now back on the dole, but at a fraction of what she previously received.
What lesson has she been taught?
Get a job and we'll punish you
