Do you not think it's possible the guys thought you said something other than what you actually said, because your accent might be difficult to understand ? To be honest I'd find it difficult to believe a guy would "do whatever" as you say. They're relying on you to reel them in after all.

I have to admit that finding the escorts apartment is one of the most stressful parts of punting. Once I've found the place, all the escorts I've met have more than made up for the prior stress. (Thank you girls!).

I think there is more to it than just accents. Women and men give directions very differently - and this may be part of it. For example, at a roundabout a man would probably say "take the third exit" whereas a woman would probably say "turn right".

The other issue is hearing directions on a busy street can be very difficult. This is compunded of course by the excitement / stress of the moment.

The ideal situation for me would be to get a txt of the address (just street and apt complex - not apt number), so that I can plan parking etc beforehand. Of course this can be extermely risky for an escort who is meeting a new client. Hence I understand and fully empathise why most girls dont do this. (I have visited one escort who did).

I agree with Mark - like in Belfast, there are a few hotspots in Dublin that are well known to most of us and these areas are never a problem. Its venturing into new territory that is always slightly more of an adventure.

No no no, my accent is not difficult to understand as I speak very clear and repeat the directions few times when giving them.
It just even you repeat 1000 times lots of guys just don't listen. Trust me this happen to even girls that are English or irish.

I have to agree with Jessie on this one. AND it is not just an Irish thing. It happens to me in England and I am English. I find many men (say 50%) just have a hopeless sense of direction and say yes, yes, yes OK see you in 5, then they are late because they were not listening. I can even tell when they are not listening now!!!! I can give the same directions to another man and he will find me first time no problem. Guys, please listen and how about carrying a pen and paper, as some men do, and write the directions down? But may be some of you men are already thinking about your rising cock? I have read that men can only think of one thing at a time (Mars Venus).

Fair enough. I guess you're better qualified to talk about this than I am.

Yes I think because of the stress or excitement guys don't listen very well to the directions.
How many times I found myself in the situation where I tell the guy go stairs up and take the left corridor and they still take the right one. Or go straight over the roundabout and they still turn left or right. Even the door number they forget the minute they ring your bell, they still go to the wrong apartment door.

I don't like to text directions especially not to new customers as I don't know who they are and there are a lot of timewaisters around that only want to know exactly where you are.

And then we'll drop the piece of paper on the street and you'll have random people who picked it up blowing in the wind showing up at your door.

It's been said time and time again we men are not multitasking.
That's why we are always so impressed by you ladies doing more than one thing at a time.

A pen and paper! I find it hard enough walking, talking and holding a phone and trying not to look conspicuous without having to write directions as well!
Multitasking - I think you expect to much of us mere mortals.

Somehow I do not think you would be so stupid. And how exactly does a piece of paper with directions on it mean that you went there to pick up a piano?
