Accused of underpaying

I don't believe that this money counting exercise should apply only to an escort/client meeting. On two separate occasions I received payment in cash......once for a sale and once for a job. On the sale occasion, somebody else received the cash for me and for the job, I received the cash. On neither occasion was the money counted jointly, but only counted after the person making the payment had left.......I know you don't want to seem rude by counting the cash there and then and been seen not to trust the person. The shortfalls were €100 and €40 respectively.........so from now on, I count cash under the person's nose and trust in God alone.
