What a brilliant idea. There are 26,779 members on E-I. Why don't we all ask individually? And they can reply individually. That's so much more efficient than them replying to one thread. You never cease to amaze me, Westie.

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Lucy you should have got an explaination for why your thread was deleted.. I have when my thread was deleted.. whoever deleted it should have pmed you.. I know on several occassions when this happened to me I was pmmed with a reason for and why.. then often we have talked about it..and i think we both can agree there is no difference between you and I.. xx

It would be much easier if the mods posted a locked thread every time someone was banned and a brief explanation as to why.

This could go for infractions as well.

What would be wong with this?

Well, is this was the case then every person who posted on the thread should be included in the PM. But I gather form Lucy's post that even she did not get a PM.

But the point is that there shoiuld be no deleting for threads.

You see this now and ppl wonder why i go off. I said managers. Pm a manager and ask the manager.

    hopefully that makes sense,

    Hi Angel
I too had a thread deleted today without reason nor explanation. Seems to me the mods do whatever takes their fancy at the time. The inconsistency is a joke.
The rules change so much and are so bendy, no wonder they haven't a bloody clue!

Just to add, not at you specifically..

The mods should not be posters or ex posters
Mods should be here to moderate only.
There should be a clear set of simple rules and guidelines which mods stick to and implement.
Their decision should be final and non negotiable.

I would guess as posts get deleted that the poster is notified to when and why.. x

Well, we've got the final and non negotiable part, so that's a start, anyway.

Thats fair enough but the issue i see is this. Ppl say what they want to say and believe what they want to believe regardless. If a guy was banned and say it was done as you say ,i guarentee that a new thread would start up and off it would go. Its this new "Why" thread that gets started up for everyone who is banned is the prob because it just descend into them v us. What i am saying is even if an explaination was given, the threads and further qs wouldnt stop as ppls minds are made up regardless in lots of cases anyway.

    Westside.
