    Default New Taoiseach

With the most savage Budget in the history of the state just an hour or so away and the general election just weeks away who do the members here think would be the best person to lead us out of this mess. For sure Biffo is not up to the job but who do you think?Enda Kenny? Eamon Gilmore? Eddie Hobbs? Dustin?

    Opinions please.

I can't help fell they are all the same.

Add Michael O'Leary to the list. At least he'd make it interesting with a few new ideas.

Michael Noonan would be the man in my book. Love him or hate him, the man's got the necessary balls to take on the vested interests.

Noonan already had a period as FG leader in 2001-2002 and resigned so I doubt even if Kenny were to do a dismal job he would be given another chance within FG.

If you recall Westie, during the Emergency (WW II) De Valera was also Minister for External Affairs. Now if The "Nose" Noonan combined the offices of Taoiseach, Minister for Justice and Minister for Defence within his own personage, you would'nt have the Gardai Rapid Responce Unit in Limerick........you'd have the Army Rangers and the Curragh would reopen to take the detainees who had been moved out of Moyross and South Hill.

The last time he held Ministerial office, he stood idly by while women with Hep C died.......now we want him to stand idly by while bankers, speculators and other criminals receive their just desserts.
