I am on 3 other forums for 5+ years and every single one of them has had these kinds of threads every few years. IMO, every forum has a certain charter it is loosely centered around and most of the posts posted on that forum is centered around that charter. There is only so much and so many ways you can write about said charter and so clique A that started the forum starts to dwindle away because it has all been said, they have moved on or whatever, clique B moves in and it all starts again, except now clique A starts complaining, repeat and rinse.

I will say though, /b/ normally only takes a couple of weeks before this starts all over again. Love 4Chan.

No. It was always like this. The current witless fools are not the same as last year's or the year before's. Or in some cases they are just using different names. But that doesn't really change anything. The quality of threads is no lower than it was before.

The quality of threads is a matter of personal opinion.
People are always referring to the 'Good old days', as if things were better back then.
It's like beauty being in the eye of the beholder, some topics will be of interest to most, but most topics will only be of interest to some.
I have never been concerned with the quality of threads, each to their own, but the hijacking of threads with personal comments that would be better off in the Chat Room(is there a clue in the title), can be quite annoying.

For me its not so much the threads going off topic as them being hijacked by the exact same ppl saying pretty much the exact same things. This is just me. Im not saying that these ppl shouldnt be here or even should stop as they can do whatever they want within the rules.

For me personally, i like arguing ,trouble, debating etc. Its genetic, not my fault and im the quiet one in my family (this is my excuse for my defense). I know there is a line between it all and its a very hard one to walk especially for managers and mods but thats me anyway. I have no time for sensitive souls.

Not saying the forum should be just as i want it or different to what it is. One thing is more posters and escorts are posting so maybe if thats anything to go by then its doing ok.
