This has been discussed many times.

Some women bring boyfriends as security.
Some boyfriends agree to them escorting , but just for an agreed period to build up funds for the future.
Some escorts are actually married and bring their husbands along.
Some girls will do this for a while and return to a man in their own circle who never knew.

I'm kinda heartbroken as one girl I loved to bits is saving herslf for someone when she quits. I will always kick myself that I was never a better man, that she could quit for me. It is my loss and no other woman will ever fill her shoes completely

Some do, some don't. As to why they put up with it, maybe they are in love with someone who happens to be an escort, and realise that this is just her job.
