Snow...love it or hate it

Its taht time of year again when you should ahve a bag of sand in your boot to maked sure your car can grip teh road

I like the snow, looks cool if there is enough. Unfortunately we dont usually get a proper amount, just some pathetic thin layer.

I was looking at a news report from across the water, and I have to admit it did look spellbinding beautiful.

But on the other hand, the news did paint a grim picture of hassled motorists and trees down.

If we lived in Nordic countries we would be ok. We would dress appropriately, and have our winter tires on.

But we're not, and destined for misery.

Anyway, new year Eve i spend in Vienna, in this fabulous city. Even with snow, it belongs to this day...

Love the snow and love travelling in it but after a week it gets boring. Drove 400 miles north the Arctic Circle 3 years ago in campervan. 'Twas -30 deg at its coldest ...... great fun.

That sound like great fun to me Monkey, great adventure. I do love snow and dont have probs driving while is white outside......I dont really like cold tho....
