The combination of greedy public sector and useless gutless politicians is a major factor - add to that the fact that white collar crime goes unpunished, a lazy electorate, the old boys network that seems to run the bloody country and it is little wonder we are deep in shit.

Do you know that in a lot of public sector jobs they can take time off ,paid ,to go to school? Do you know that the CSO working hours are 10 - 12 and 2 - 4? Take Cork City hall. There are 65 engineers there. How many in New York? 5.

We have too many civil servents who are unwilling to take cuts and do their bit. We have ONE chance on this. This is an IMF and EU bailout. If we screw this up then the IMF will take over ALL of the running of the country.

FFS the very fact that we cant deflate our currency because of the EU is enough. Why do ppl think that the UK would go the full hog?

wtf do you call loosing your job!.. I call that a cut!.. I have said there are bad people in the public service and many dont deserve the jobs they have as they simply dont do there jobs properly! but there are good people in the public service!.
