I am hurt and offended at Brunette_Kitty's constant comments that I am cheap. It is quite insulting. I am far from it. I consider myself a generous person, I have just fallen on bad times. Since loosing my business, money, cars and house, the good times went with them. The worst of it was when the money dried up my wife left.
I now work, I do work, in the cold maybe, in a crappy job definitely, I don't cry about the fact that I take home less in a day than you earn in half an hour. Hey OnlyMe, thanks for sharing you situation with us, life in Ireland is fucked up for everyone at the moment and there is likely to be little in the way of relief, especially once the IMF gets in hooks in. I have lost a great deal of some lovely clients due to the recession, ones for whom money wasn't an object. If a girl has double booked and a client is let down I would expect that the lady would contact the client afterwards and explain.
I understand how it can happen and a the lady must protect her business. Most clients will understand , even though they have every reason to be angry. Howerver a client is less likely to write a N/A if some explaination is given and it could lead to a rebooking if such contact is made.
