Surprised at so much love for Galway, obviously from people who haven't spent more than 2 weeks here during the rain & wind season (Sep to June)
Since I can't pick Galway i'd haveto say Donegal or Kerry, some really lovely areas there. Maybe even Dublin if there weren't so many Dubs there
once the weather is good anywhere in Ireland is amazing, i always say that if we had guaranteed good weather in the summer i would never leave here. IMO Kerry is the best place to put the feet up and watch the world go by, can get a bit crowded in the Summer with coach tours but i always have a fantastic time down there
Dont forget Limerick which was named the 'Sporting capital of Europe' today so much to see
-Go watch Munster play rugby in their fantastic new Thomond Park stadium
-Go horse racing in the new Patrickswell purpose built magnificent racecourse
-Go greyhound racing in our yes new again course in Greenpark
-Visit Dolans Warehouse Dock Road concerts every week, dine in plush hotels the Clarion with magnificent views of the Shannon(fiver for triple decker sambo & soup) the Strand hotel(might see me there) & the Royal George, Dromoland Castle another magnificent hotel
-Visit Bunratty Castle & drink/eat in Dirty Nellys closeby
-Visit Adare manor see thatched roof houses still intact
-fantastic shopping in city centre hotel & excellent Crescent shopping centre
-if u like golf your spoilt for choice
