Not so Maxi, only the daft ones get caught this way, the smarter cookie hides there IP, however some cant help themselfes and spotting the similar styles of posts and grievances is what gives them away eventually.

Slightly off topic maybe but how long does it take for these profiles to be banned and do they only get banned when they upset someone via a post. Surely the duplicate ID is spotted on registration. Have i missed something here and have all the profiles been banned.

It is not not necessarily clear where a duplicate id is being used. They are relying on IP addresses primarily, but there are ways around this.

The duplicate ids are eventually revealed through what the poster says, or his or her style, or a combination of the two.

So, to answer your question, it depends.

Posts only get removed in extreme situations , I didnt feel the need to remove this one.

No I didn't, there are a few hundred people living here. I just think that as a rule you shouldn't mention others' locations, also because of my weirdness someone living around here might have suspicions on who it was.
