He certainly did a lot to promote boxing.
He caused such extreme reaction that people were coming to see him in the hope that the opposition punched his lights out. As a marketing ploy it was sheer genius.
Prince Naseem was another heavily marketed individual, but minus Eubank's talent - completely over-hyped.
But it certainly brought a bit of colour into the sport. Not much to get excited about nowadays
