And there lies the problem. It is a very simple thing- it has been allowed to be distorted.

Ask the women who were released from the Magdalene Launderies if they think we are ungrateful.

We can of course point at the abuses carried out by a minority! (OBVIOUS)

I think most reasonable people would not condem all for the actions of a few!

Its true, its just a simple bias or sterotyping and even though you wouldnt mean it you would still give in if it confirms your previous suspicions

Most reasonable people follow their faith without pomp and circumstance- the priests have put themselves on a throne built on people blindly following whatever they proclaim. I don't buy it, im afraid.

    Wrong again.
I would say the majority of people do engage in the pomp and circumstance whether regulary of on occassion (wedding, funerals baptisim etc).

When you say "The priests" as if they were a singular being is language used by many persecutors (The Jews, The Blacks, The Gypsies etc).

I was referring to the Vatican Monopoly. Not all priests are corrupt. But the system they work for is.

    How is it corrupt now?
They have made mistakes and are "slowly" learning from them!
Where is the corruption specifically aside from the issues such as womens roles, homosexuality etc.
Those issues are their views and they are entitled to them whether or not you disagree with them.
    What actually makes them corrupt?
