Yes, I like the sound of that. Just let me get into character.

    Jeez Luce

Is life in the Marble City that exciting?

Think you are in urgent need of a trip to the Garden County where, in the interests of research of course, I'll show you some roads, and, er, possibly the odd cinder track into a forest or two! Yeah, I know, I'm a classy kind of guy ...

Reasons the Irish do not like the Brits

    1. They have us speaking this God Forsaken Language.
    2. They introduced us to Gods Game.. Rugby.
    3. They take from us.. and this.. can not be forgiven........

This thread, which got off to such a promising start, is in serious danger of degenerating into harmless banter and general niceness. So...

Ireland could have been a contender except for two great historical blunders:
    - Converting to Christianity
    - Teaching the English to read

“I wish you wouldn’t keep appearing and vanishing so suddenly; you make one quite giddy!”
“All right,” said the Cat; and this time it vanished quite slowly, beginning with the end of the tail, and ending with the grin, which remained some time after the rest of it had gone.

Well, we're not the only tea-leaf so.

    Wasn't St George Turkish?
