Can a single woman and man ever really be good friends???

Ok, so, men and women find it difficult to work together without sex getting in the way apparently.......

Why does everything have to revolve around sex? Of course, biology states that you, when you first look at a woman, you check her out as a possible mate, if she doesn't pass the 'test' the best thing that would happen is being friends.

I used to have mainly female friends whom I was interested in sexually, is that so hard to believe?

I've lived in a few countries, and I think this may be partly an Irish problem. In this country men and women tend to socialise separately. They only get together to shag, or to attempt to anyway. Other, happier, countries don't seem to live that way. The English do, of course, but they only have sex once a year, at the office Christmas party, so they are hardly a model for healthy social interaction.

Thanks for the replys folks but I found out at the weekend, it does get in the way, or a bit anyway..........

Next question is what to do if it does get in the way???

There may have been drink involved. Ignore it, forget it ever happened and move on???

Talk about it and see where it goes???

Go with it, you never know what might happen but run the risk of spoiling a friendship???

Just give it a go old man sure friends come and go but all goes well you could end up with someone to stick around, i wouldnt worry bout fucking it up just tell her she will be forceably removed from the country if she doesnt comply works a treat
