It should probably be worded differently to avoid confusion. 'Suspended' sounds harsh, like a punishment has been imposed. In reality, the 'suspended' escort is just taking a break.

I think that's deliberate. I used to think E-I were just too lazy to change this, but now I think they are actively trying to punish escorts who choose to stop advertising here. The question comes up all the time, so it's not as if they are not aware of the issue.
