More than likey yes as we all have said it or had it said ,but it wouldnt bother you as you knew they were just kidding as you could see the context in which it was said. If someone called you that here online because you dont see the context in which it is said, then you would think it was meant in a nasty way.
Online, unless there are alot of readable lines in between, its very easy to pick something up the wrong way.
