Because soem are just arseholes. I mean I hate the whole campness thing (read my campness thread which seems to have come back) Nothing against homosexuals I just hate the campness thing.

Anyway back on topic, you dont know how he was rasied, I mean his whole family could hate gays and that could have been in built in him. So he may not know anybetter, or seconbdly his family could be devout Christians who hate gays and etc etc

Quite possibley. The great debate continues. All I am saying is that it is hard to work out why he did it. Is he homophobic, was his upbringing in that kind of mindset? Are his firnds homophobes?

What about the term "fag hag"? Do you think it is insulting?

I know it is used for straight women who like to socialise with or have a circle of gay men friends. I have often wondered if they feel more comfortable in the company of gay men because they won't have to put up with predatory sexual behaviour from them or are they attracted to the more feminine type of gay man who maybe understands women better.

So, if you are'nt going to church this Sunday morning, you can instead spend it debating this interesting academic topic.
