The way to do this is is issue a warning to an escort who was found to have submitted fake pics. The warning for example would be if said escort submitted further fake pics under same or difference profile, she would be banned from advertising for a period of 3 months. This would effect her earnings and ensure compliance in future.

It may seem harsh but I believe this would benefit the industry and weed out those not committed to it.

I would be interested in your comments.

As it stands, escorts found posting fake pics are banned from posting pics to their ad profile, but not from advertising. That's about as good as it gets and in fairness to Patricia, I wouldn't really expect much more.........

I know thats the problem, money seems king. If E-I wants truly to sort this matter out they can do so if they wish by issuing terms and conditions to escorts. After all it is in the interests of escorts in the long-tern ( by the way your bug is distracting me).

Yes, that would be fine if there was nowhere else for them to advertise, but there is so E-I would achieve only 2 things. Perhaps clearing up the problem on this site, and secondly, driving advertisers somewhere else and if that happened then out wouldn't really need to worry about clearing up the problem on this site cause it wouldn't exist for much longer.........

What you need is an industry agreement on this between all the advertising sites and guess what. That's never gonna happen and I wouldn't expect E-I to stick it's neck out to be the first or only one to do it. I wouldn't........

The only opposition is to E-I is irish-independent-escorts, who trust me are now dead in the water.

If E-I wished to solve this issue, they could do so by a rolling ban for example:-
first fake photo - 1 week ban;
second fake photo - 1 month ban;
third fake photo - 2 month ban
etc., etc

Remember they can do anything they wish, If they do so in a measured way they will embrace the escorts and punters. Perhaps they could even attract more customers to their site. Remember they take great care of their review system, so why not escorts. If they can be trusted would not more customers come to their site and therefore escorts?
That would make good business sense.

I hear what you're saying Mark, but I'm afraid it would just never be that simple. To start with, and I don't mean to sound condesending here, but it's naive to think that IIE is the only opposition, every site is opposition. The greatest opposition may not have even been conceived yet. Could just be a concept or a domain name at the moment, just waiting for an opportunity, a chance to jump into the market, and something like this could just be it...........

The bans you're talking about are spot on, but as bans for escorts from uploading pics not from advertising, that will never happen.........

I may be wrong with all this, pehaps Patricia might come along and tell you differently, but I'd be willing to bet EP's knicker collection on it never happening.........

But this is where great ideas come from, from throwing things out there and seeing what happens. Keep them coming, you could hit on something really good, I could be wrong, but I just don't think this one is it.............
