I am digusted with his behaviour he should be dropped regardless as it seems to be a ploy for more money

I was shocked by the news when it came out but as someone said on a previous post I think he has been ill advised. My blame lies with the Glaziers, bringing their debt & not reinvesting the money from Ronaldo... I dont think Rooney is the cleverest tool in the box but he's sharp as a tack on the pitch when he's on form. He's made a huge mistake but I think its quite brave of him to stay as he knows he's going to get alot of flack.... I just hope he makes up for it on the pitch as no matter what we think about it for the forseeable future he's still a red .....

It's been headline news since lunchtime and you just heard it now. Who was the lucky lady in Manchester.

Ferguson's interview on Tuesday forced the Rooney camp's hand and brought it all to a head.
You have a short memory Doozer, six months ago we were eulogising Rooney as he carried the team (along with Evra and a couple of others) with some great performances and goals.
Remember Ferdinand a few years ago delaying his contract renewal. Rooney is not alone in doing this and there are plenty of players in other clubs that have done likewise(JT at Chelsea). It doesn't make it right but United make a lot of money out of Rooney merchandising, never mind his goalscoring, so why shouldn't get the best deal he can.
I said it already, he was badly advised by a greedy agent.

Ì know Forrest and Itill dont think Rio or Rooney should be in the team.
Rooney sjould be able to get more money but they are a cash strapped clunb with huge debts and all but he could have gotten a btter deal without resorting to this
    Yes she was worth it

You are entitled to your opinion, but I cannot agree with it.(well maybe the Ferdinand bit )
The constant media rumours and Fergie's interview brought it into the public domain. It also forced the Glazer's hand, and remember, they are the ones that brought the huge debts to the club.
You try dealing with all that hype that he has had to endure, and the stuff about his personal life, considering his background.
Let's hope United can get their act together, and the team galvanises and goes on to win more trophies.

    Enjoy Manchester.
