Just a thought really. There's quite a variety of avatars on here, and I was wondering if people think that there's some psychology behind it?

For example, we have our resident cats, Poggo and Anon who are experienced punters and these animals (to me) portray a sense of wild, free and powerful personalities. Westside mentioned Alec Horan changing his avatar all the time... perhaps this represents a sense of a free spirited person who is unsettled or perhaps doesn't know what he wants?

All this is of course hypothetical, and it could be because they just like the pictures, but a psychoanalytical (Freudian) approach to psychology would suggest a deeper meaning to this.

    What does everyone else think?
Well i do believe some ppl choose their advatar relating to something about them.......so ye some have behind some psychology behind........whether is something to do with their personality,character,habit,ways.....so on.....

You're probably yearning for a return to childhood, a time when things were simpler. Before you started having sex and things got complicated fast.

My avatar reflects my desire to have a sex-change and look somewhat like Sophia Loren

I'm not sure if I want to know what people think is the psychology behind my avatar........

But if anybody wants to give it a go I suppose it might be interesting...........

Mousey is sick of my glasses staring at him with dead humourless eyes like he just farted, with the fag hanging out of the corner of my gob like I'm pointing my disapproval right out of the goddam screen, waiting for him to say something bad so I can judge him..........He's right.....................................You know that's not true Mousey.............One of my favourites........

Jimbo says he still quivers whenever I post........

Jeepers Jim...........I'm not that bad am I???

    I hope not.........

Well, my original username was "Anonymouse", which I thought was dead clever. I googled a search for something small cute and furry and got my avatar. However, the halfwits who regularly post on these boards kept calling me "Mousey", so, succumbing to per pressure, Mammy changed my username to Mousey.

I have enquired about changing it to "Hamstery" as part of the joke, but Sammy can't be arsed typing it in
