Its not really practical to stop something a person really enjoys
If ones income plummeted then they may not other choice but to pospone punting

For me, im not the cheating type so if i meet a girl that i genuinely really like and care very much about, i would have no hesitation in putting putting "on hold"

Listen lads you can go on about being fateful and promising that you will stop if and when the right gf comes along till the cows come home but the truth of the matter is you won't stop you might not punt as often but you won't stop,in my opinion it is like the shear excitement of the first time being with a new girlfriend a kinda feeling you will only ever experience the first time your together and no mather how hard you try or alter your bedroom antics you will never get that same sensation again,but then you decide well getting bored with this now what used to be a four hour rollercoaster is now a half hour bus ride if your lucky,so time to go punting again to get back that first time feeling remembering how you had butterflies while waiting in the room for the escort to return or how your eyes lit up when the door answered by a scantily clad beautiful woman knowing that in a couple of minutes you will be havin the time of your life yes that first time feeling again (hence the reason most punters don't visit the same escort twice or more )So lads guess time will tell but my money would be on the punter in search of not just a quick shag but that first time feeling

Its the antictpation of meeting new bird and that initial spark etc

People will never stop something they enjoy so much...

However like drink, drugs, ciggies etc sex can actually become an "addiction" for some men and then its time to ask, "can this really continue". would be an expensive/destructive addiction..
