I know Abby used to do the WebCam service when I first met her.
I didn't take her up on the offer at the time, as I preferred the personal service.

It's definitely a good idea, as Viloette said, as an extra marketing tool.
Another advantage, if you have already met a lady in person and then see her on webcam, it's less anonymous and can feel more personal.
