Thread: Best of luck to Mark Boucher

Default Best of luck to Mark Boucher

The South African wicket keeper has retired after suffering a severe eye injury in the tour game against Somerset. They have no idea if the damage is permanent and will have to wait until the swelling goes down to find out.

Arguably the best of all time, and a class act. Best of luck

They are worried he may be blinded...feel awful. Yesterday I was hoping he was out of the tour, he is bloody dangerous. Never wanted a severe injury though, some things are more important than sport

Man thats pretty bad. What happened? Was it during a match? Did something hit him or what?

I have zero interest in Cricket but I saw the incident on SSN, can't believe something as random as that would lead to him being forced to retire. Feel sorry for the guy, hopefully it's not permanently damaged.
