I think that the fastest way to learn at least the basics of a language is to have everything around you in that language, so that you are more or less 'forced' to learn it that way...

Good insofar as it helps spanish speaking escorts, bad in that the official language of the board is English and only English is tolerated on the board, this seems to mix those signals somewhat. Not too sure how escorts from a country outside of the english/spanish speaking world should feel, they do seem to get the short straw there.

But only one way to judge it, see whether it works out or not.

But as Pat said all the posts will remain in English its just teh navigation tools that will be in another language

I understand what do you mean hun. Ladies will have to use english on boards. Like Pat said only part of boards will be translated, but it might be enough to give a new poster/foreign person a courage to post. Maybe website want to show that not perfect english is also welcome.

not everything will be in Spanish, just buttons and menus, post wont be translated. when i started to learn i put myself out there, foreign music , tv etc. I basicly pushed myself to speak, even when i felt unsecure. but not everybody can do it same way

Who knows if this will be helpful or not, but I don't think there is much harm in giving it a go. Regards Spanish only, it won't just be Spanish, we will also be having it translated into Italian, Polish and Czech. The reason for choosing these 4 languges is that these are the languages we can offer staff support in right now, so it made sense to start with these. This languages thing is sort of irrelevant to the average E-I user, it is only relevant to some escorts, but we thought we better have a thread about it as we know we can't do anything around here without you guys asking us WTF we are doing! ;-)
