I feel sorry for her problem, but I won't be losing sleep over her not making lots of money, there are other who could make better use of that money.

She was an average singer at best, not horrible but not that good either. I doubt she would have gotten too far.

Considering that she ramped up her prices so much, you could say the whole thing has been a publicity stunt for her. Because of how it got across the tabloids so much you could say it's been a great publicity coup for the X-Factor as well.

Thats just a comparison of how wide this criteria actually stretches. Look at as many of the top bands as you can as of late and go back to the early eighties and check them. Today to act the jackass better than you can sing whereas back then you sang well first and then if it suited you ,you could act the jackass. Go back even further to the sixties and seventies and you really had to be able to sing. Even Elvis god forbide could sing but today? Not many good talented singers at all and defo wouldnt stand on stage or even belong on stage with the likes of Mercury or The Who.
