There's me in the middle when I used to road race. It's a Harley Davidson believe it or not.

Motorbike road racing is probably one of the most extreme sports.
The TT races are extremely dangerous because of the high speeds on very narrow, twisting streets, roads and lanes flanked by stone walls and even buildings. Between 1907 and 2009 (at the end of 2009 TT races period) there have been 231 deaths during official practices or races on the Snaefell Mountain Course (this number includes the riders killed during Manx Grand Prix and the Clubman TT races). wikipedia

I will watch virtually anything billed as "extreme". It is insane the lengths that some people will go to, but that is what makes them so compelling.

That French guy who climbs skyscrapers without any ropes is pretty wild. As is the French guy who did the wirewalk across from one Twin Tower to the other in the 1970s. What is it about the French?

Also there's supposedly some tribe of Indians who work on building skyscrapers and they (used to?) walk around on the steel girders 100-odd floors up without any safety lines. And then there's that famous photo of the line of guys eating their lunch sitting on a girder hanging from a crane.

And then there's people who train to be bomb-disposal experts!! Who the hell picks that as a job? Some people are just crazy or have no fear whatsoever.

    And then there's Bear Gryliss. He's just a full-of-crap 100% twat!!

Skydiving really does it for me, but a rough landing put an end to it.
