wish I could help there Rod S. but havent a clue just to wish u luck in your new job you'll be Sailing in a few weeks
The Government are bringing a scheme they say as early as next month to get people to 'work for their dole' I welcome this there are too many wasters in this country who wouldnt work to warm themselves our East European cousins have latched on to our 'generous' Social Welfare system too a complete mockery, I think there must be incentives to help people on these 'work for your dole' schemes like transport & a sandwich, the culture of laziness & getting everything for nothing when it comes to working in this country must change...

I agree to an extent, but cant see how it will work regarding familes with kids
If they make the parents go out to work for theor dole the parents wont be able to afford childcare and will still have to go out to earn their dole

Hang on a sec their EX P. having a cchild isnt a life choice. Its not like buying a new car and not being able to keep up the re payments or something,
Maybe before teh recession the family had jobs and could afford the childcare, now both are unemployed and cannot afford to send their kids to childcare yet will be forced to comply with the new socail welfare regulation. 170 a month is nothing

LOL work at what? The gov dont get it and neither do alot of ppl. There is no work there whether its for your dole or not. Are ppl naive enough to think some scheme will create jobs? and what about the next budget cuts? These will cause more ppl to loose jobs as more smaller business close. This work for your dole bullshit is to take some heat off the gov who have made a complete balls of everything that they have touched. From electronic voting to NAMA to the banks to job creation, they have made a complete mess of every single one of them and this scheme is only another mess.

They need to make this country more affordable to foreign investment, look after our own domestic industries (whats left of them) and stop signing more and more power over to the EU. Then things will turn slowly, otherwise its going to get worse.

    alot worse,
    Westside.
